Automation – as I’ve mentioned in several posts – is the key to efficiency and productivity. These traits are critical for entrepreneurs and can’t be overemphasized.
In this week’s post, I go step by step through the process of setting up a Zapier integration to email directly from your Airtable CRM.
But, before we get to the ‘how’ – let’s address the ‘why’…
A CRM is valuable for the purpose of managing client relationships. It’s the place that every business should record interactions for the purpose of tracking a relationship over time. In the world today, a large amount of our interactions are done via email.
And yes, email apps do a good job of helping you organize your contacts and interactions, but the one thing they don’t do is give you a place to record all of your interactions. This is by definition of course – your email app is created to track email – it’s not a CRM.
So then, a CRM is a superior choice for tracking email for the fact that it tracks all interactions with a prospect or client in one place.
However, writing an email in an email app and then switching over to your CRM to record that email is insanely redundant. Frankly, if you spend time as an entrepreneur doing this type of double work, you will struggle to keep up with your competition.
